echte Wissenschaft und objektive Wahrheit

Wie läßt sich erreichen, daß wirklich gute und wahre Suchmaschinenergebnisse ganz vorne stehen ?
Wann setzt sich endlich Qualität durch ?
Warum werden so oft unangenehme Wahrheiten verwässert,
unaufgeklärte Fälle vernebelt,
relevante Informationen durch Wogen von ham und spam, von linkspam und spamdexing, überschwemmt ?

Seit einiger zeit begleitet mich
die wundervolle Arbeit von Herrn Prof.Dr. Thomas Mandl. Unter anderem eine umfangreiche Habilitationsschrift , zu finden auf seiner page an der Uni Hildesheim In diesem Werk vermittelt Professor Dr. Mandl uns Anfänger-Informatikern und Usern einen Eindruck in die Linkanalyse, in die Wissenschaft "Information Retrieval" und in alternative Verfahren zur Qualitätsbewertung im Web.

Was Qualität ist, hängt eben nicht nur von Menge, Gewicht und Autorität der Links ab, die auf eine Webseite verweisen,
sondern von vielen Kriterien:
Autorität, Verständlichkeit, Korrektheit, Objektivität, Signifikanz, Glaubwürdigkeit, Umfang, Relevanz, Ästhetik, Kontaktmöglichkeiten, Gebrauchstauglichkeit, Benutzbarkeit, Zuverlässigkeit, Gültigkeit, Bedeutung, Übersichtlichkeit, Einmaligkeit, Interaktivität, Multimedialität, Service für den User, Übertragbarkeit, Ausdrucksweise, Pagerank (wie viele nicht in betrügerischer Absicht oder aus Marketinggründen künstlich geschaffene Links verweisen auf die Webseite) , und weiteren Kriterien.

Anhand des WebTango-Projekts von Ivory und Hearst wird deutlich, daß 2002 schon nicht mehr die klassischen Kriterien für Pagerank galten, sondern es wurden 157 (!!) einzelne Maße für Seiten untersucht.
Prof.Dr.Mandl beschreibt in seiner Habilitationsschrift ausführlich die Grundlagen der Qualitätsbewertung im Internet, die heutzutage bei den riesigen Datenmengen schon stark automatisiert betrieben wird.
Detailliert geht Mandl auf Information Retrieval, Web Mining und Text Mining, Qualität von Internet-Angeboten und im Kontext, den Stand der Forschung zur automatischen Qualitätsbewertung 2006, Linkanalyse, Qualitätsfilter, Entwicklung von Qualitätsmodellen, Qualitätsretrieval, Evaluierung und Web Design Mining ein.

zum Glück beziehen Projekte wie AQUAINT und WEBTANGO viele subjektive Kriterien in ihre Evaluation mit ein !

mir dämmerten kurz einige hochrelevante zusammenhänge, bei sätzen wie
die ideen der linkanalyse sind nicht neu, sondern werden seit langem von der bibliometrie und der szientometrie eingesetzt. dort entsprechen links die zitate, mit welchen wissenschaftliche publikationen aufeinander verweisen

der impact factor.....das sich zitieren in wissenschaftlerkreisen....
(auch das namedropping das wir sonst auch aus den kunstszenen oder der musik kennen... das heischen um anerkennung im antagonismus zum wirken im geheimen, sich zurückziehen hinter EDV-systeme, elektronisch gesicherte türen, aktenberge, dokumentenstapel und tiefe unterirdische regale wo im verborgenen wirkende eminenzen verschlungene datensalate weben)

verändert sich die struktur des internet ähnlich zum wandel der universitäten unter ökonomischen zwängen im laufe der feststellung von exzellenz durch ranking, ranking über publikationen, platzierung in high-ranked journals ?
welche rolle spielen die plastikwörter für die monetären statusmarkierungen in wissenschaftlerkreisen ? plastikwörter wie „assessment centers“, „qualitätsmanagement“, „benchmarking“, „governance-strukturen“, „people processing“, „stake holders“, „exzellenzinitiativen“ oder „impact-faktoren“ sind erst seit einigen jahren in den verwaltungen der universitäten zu finden....

Der Impact Factor oder genauer Journal Impact Factor (JIF) einer Fachzeitschrift soll messen, wie oft andere Zeitschriften einen Artikel aus ihr in Relation zur Gesamtzahl der dort veröffentlichten Artikel zitieren.
